Pray this Lazaroo with burning emotion:

“Joab…sent messengers after Abner…But David did not know it. Now when Abner returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into an inner chamber, as if to speak with him privately. And there, to avenge the blood of his brother Asahel, Joab stabbed him in the stomach, and he died.”
(2 Samuel 3:26-27)

Joab was a mighty warrior and general, Jesus

but he had an ugly, murderous streak.

Rid me of everything You find in me

that would bring dishonor to Your Name!

Paul knew the murderous evil he had done, Jesus.

He knew You were aware of it, too

along with countless others.

His reputation among some of Your followers was great

but for good reason
others of Your people hated and feared him.

Sometimes a person’s past behavior gives them away

but with others it’s all in the past.

O Holy Spirit!

Your Father sent that angel to Joseph, Jesus

to let him know the coast was clear to take You back.

Of course, Your Heavenly Father is also

the one who cleared the coast!

The murderous King Herod

was taken out.

I serve the Almighty God who can not only let me know when it’s safe to move

but do whatever it takes
to clear the path.
