Pray this Lazaroo with passionate desire:

“…the LORD has a charge to bring against you…: ‘There is no faithfulness…’”
(Hosea 4:1)

That was the awful situation in Israel, Jesus!

Are we any better today?
I fervently hope so.

But what we call faithfulness

may not be faithful at all in Your eyes –
because You see into our hearts.

How many of the righteous acts I perform are for You

and how many are to make me look good?

O God!

The answer must be:

Zero.

Ask God to show it to you straight, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…how…righteous…we were among you…”
(1 Thessalonians 2:10)

When a righteous person walks into the room, things often get quiet, Jesus.

There’s respect, yes
maybe fear

more than a little nervousness…discomfort.

Why?

Perhaps because a righteous person reminds us of our own

unrighteousness.

Do I long for Your righteousness to rise within me, LORD?

There’s a lot of downward pressure from my culture
even from some close to me

to just be one of the crowd.

Time to choose.
