You’re making it very clear, Jesus:

We need each other.

I need other people in my life –

reliable people!

…and they need me.

So much for my solo act.

I need from them.

Am I doing that, Jesus?

I don’t think so…

but if it’s in an area I don’t understand
I could very well be guilty and not know it.

I have to face it:

There’s a whole lot I don’t understand!

You’re the one who gives understanding.

You know what I need to know
and what I don’t.

Help me grasp what I need
and respond exactly as You desire!

What an awesome reminder of that miracle, Jesus!

We need reminders.

Because too often
we forget.

That usually happens

when we ask You for something that isn’t best
and don’t get it.

Maybe I need to set up some physical reminders

of the things You’ve done for me!

“Now a man who was lame from birth…asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.”

He was about to get something all right, Jesus…

but it wasn’t from Peter and John.

It was from You!

He wanted money, but what he needed was to be healed.

That’s what I desire, Father!

Not what I think I want
but what You know I need.

When we keep sinning – especially when we know better, Jesus –

You withdraw from us.

I can’t afford that, LORD!
I need You too desperately.

We need good sleep, Jesus.

We need good health.

But under Satan’s attack we may enjoy neither.

It’s so easy to feel hopeless like Job.
But I trust in You to rescue me!
