Pray this Lazaroo with explosive feeling:

“So Samuel told him everything, hiding nothing from him. Then Eli said, ‘He is the Lord; let him do what is good in his eyes.’”
(1 Samuel 3:18)

That was a brutal message to hear, Jesus.

But since it came from You
Eli submitted to Your Will.

Do I want to hear such an awful message from You?

No.

But it is the everlasting desire of my heart

that with me

You will do what is good in Your eyes.

But they weren’t lazy, Jesus!

They were obeying You!

May I always remember:

Even when I’m doing exactly what You desire
this can happen to me.

When others judge me harshly

should I quit obeying You?

No!

She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast.’ The other woman said, ‘No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours.’”
(1 Kings 3:16, 19-20, 22)

No witnesses, Jesus.

How could Solomon possibly render a just verdict?

Even worse

am I going to lose faith
conclude You no longer intervene

NO!

In faith and trust, deal with it – as you pray this Lazaroo:

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”
(Revelation 3:7)

We don’t respond very well to that initially, Jesus.

We like to appeal decisions we don’t like.
We like to feel we have some measure of control.

But we don’t.

You do hear every prayer I pray according to Your will!

But when I ask for something not best
may I truly be grateful

that Your answer is no.
