Pray this Lazaroo with locked-in faith:

“Strike him down and bury him, and so clear me and my whole family of the guilt of the innocent blood that Joab shed. The Lord will repay him…because…he attacked two men and killed them with the sword. Both of them…were better men and more upright than he.”
(1 Kings 2:31-32)

Vengeance is Yours, Jesus.

Not mine.

You know when someone is going to repent

and when they never will.

If they’re not sorry now for what they did

they will be.

Pray this Lazaroo in humble recognition:

“He summons his picked troops…”
(Nahum 2:5)

I can select the best helpers out there, Jesus.

I can train them
motivate them
send them out
expect them to do well.

But if they succeed, it will be Your doing.

Not mine.
Not theirs.

If You so decree, they’ll fail –

and there’s not one thing I can do about it.

You’ve called Your people to be involved, Father!

But You don’t want us to ever forget

Who runs the show.

Pray this Lazaroo in trusting awareness:

“…our vineyards that are in bloom.”
(Song of Songs 2:15)

There are seasons when my vineyards are in bloom, Jesus.

Well, some of them. Not all of them.

Don’t let me become so depressed over those not blooming
that I fail to rejoice over those that are.

Of course, there are other seasons when none of my vineyards is in bloom.

But Your Word specifies “our” vineyards, not “my.”
May I always rejoice over the blooming vineyards of others!.
