Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. So when I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers.”
(3 John 1:9-10)

This guy’s a piece of work, Jesus.

He’s so afraid he’ll lose his position in the church
that he wants no one else to attend!

May I always put the spread of Your gospel

ahead of my own agenda!

Pray this Lazaroo with burning zeal:

“Not satisfied with that…”
(3 John 1:10)

This guy Diotrephes was a real piece of work, Jesus.

He wasn’t satisfied with causing a little bit of trouble.
He wanted to create a lot –

which is why Paul called him out on it.

But that raises an interesting question:

Am I satisfied with doing a little bit of good, now and then?

Or am I not satisfied

until I am fully, completely, wholeheartedly
fulfilling Your highest plan for my life!

Pray this Lazaroo with deep reverence:

“…they invent ways of doing evil…”
(Romans 1:30)

That’s a different level of evil, isn’t it, Jesus?

Not satisfied with every manner of wickedness that has gone before
they’re intent on coming up with brand new ways to do wrong.

Some of what they come up with is to satisfy their own perversions.

But they also seek new ways to do harm to those who belong to You.

Great God Almighty, I beg You:
Spare me from such people!
