Pray this Lazaroo with informed faith:

“I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.”
(Revelation 3:9)

Only You can do something like that, Jesus.

You can make any of us do anything –

anytime You please.

Of course, most of the time You give us information

leaving it up to us to make the right choice.

Pray this Lazaroo with sold-out surrender:

“Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.”
(Proverbs 4:10-12)

These were Your words through King David to his son, the future King Solomon.

But they’re also Your words to me, Jesus.

You call me to walk in the way of wisdom

to make these promises come true in my life.

Sometimes when You show up I’m afraid, Jesus

because I mistake what You’re doing for something bad.

Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“…those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid…”
(2 Peter 2:10)

Lack of fear can be a good thing, Jesus…

but not in this case.

Fear of doing wrong, knowing full well You’re watching

is the beginning of wisdom.

Most of us don’t have that fear nearly enough.

For some, it’s a lack of belief.

But for others of us
it’s knowing how much You love us!
