Pray this Lazaroo with no-holds-barred surrender:

“In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai…”

It’s not every day that You speak out loud to someone on earth, Jesus.

If You spoke like that to me
I’d mark the date too.

I’d probably make a note of the time, as well.

How often I’ve wished You would tell me exactly what You want me to do!

Though I don’t in any way, shape or form deserve it,
I know You can.

But there’s a reason You don’t.

Probably many reasons.

One of which is You’re waiting on me

to pay attention to what You’ve already spoken to me

through Your Word.
