Pray this Lazaroo in devoted passion:

“What I have vowed I will make good.”
(Jonah 2:9)

Easier said than done, Jesus.

At the time I make a vow
I’m fired up, determined.

But all that passion tends to fade.

That’s what Jonah ran into.

At first he was on fire!
Later on…not so much.

It’s the “later on” that separates the sheep from the goats, isn’t it?

I’ve been a goat too many times in my life, LORD!

Please. By Your grace:

Not this time.

Pray this Lazaroo with flaming faith:

“The house of Jacob will be a fire…”
(Obadiah 1:18)

There’s a difference, Jesus…

from being on fire
to being a fire.

If I’m on fire, someone else has ignited me.

But when I’m a fire
I’m the one doing the lighting.

I’m so grateful for the times You’ve lit me up, LORD!

But would You be willing to do for me what You did for Jacob –

and work miraculously through me
to light Your life-changing fire in others?
