“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

Who could make such promises – and then fulfill them, Jesus –

to the poor in spirit, those who mourn,
the meek, the hungry and thirsty?

Acknowledge your need of Him, as you pray this Lazaroo!

“…two prostitutes came to the king…One of them said…‘During the night this woman’s son died because she lay on him. So she…took my son from my side while I…was asleep. She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast.’ The other woman said, ‘No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours.’”
(1 Kings 3:16, 19-20, 22)

No witnesses, Jesus.

How could Solomon possibly render a just verdict?

See it clearly, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…they all came and urged David to eat something while it was still day; but David took an oath, saying, ‘May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if I taste bread or anything else before the sun sets!’ All the people took note and were pleased; indeed, everything the king did pleased them.”
(2 Samuel 3:35-36)

To be popular with the majority of people, Jesus?

Sure.
Sometimes.

But for everything David did to please them?

Only You.

right before she drove a tent peg through his head.

Pray this Lazaroo with no-holds-barred surrender:

So that’s my reward for cleansing myself, Jesus?
