Keep first things first, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Another thing you do…”
(Malachi 2:13)

Just when I think I’m getting away scot-free with my disobedience, Jesus

I’m reminded that You see everything I do
hear everything I say
know everything I think.

When I repent, do You refuse to remember my sins?

Yes. You do.

HALLELUJAH!

You remove my inexcusably wicked acts
as far away from me as the east is from the west!

But the operative phrase is:

“When I repent.”

Which I’d better do.

Right now.

Pray this Lazaroo with over-the-top trust:

“…there is no end to their treasures.”
(Isaiah 2:7)

At least that’s how it seems, Jesus.

Some of the world’s worst people
seem to have more than their share of the best.

While some of the world’s best people
seem to experience more than their share of the worst.

But the operative word is:

“seems.”

What seems a certain way to me

is seldom – if ever – the case.

You alone know what’s really going on.

And I trust You.
