Pray this Lazaroo in ardent love:

“Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted in fear and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites.”
(Joshua 5:1)

Do that to all who oppose Your holy people, Jesus!

Do that in behalf of all Your people who are less than holy

but keep trying

and trying

and won’t quit

till we make it.

Pray this Lazaroo with laser-focused intensity:

“In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.”
(Titus 2:7-8)

Paul didn’t want people saying bad things about Titus, Jesus

but he also didn’t want them saying bad things about him!

He knew whatever Titus said and did
was a reflection on him

just as what I say and do
is a reflection on those
who’ve built into my life.

Pray this Lazaroo with pedal-to-the-metal commitment:

“In everything set them an example by doing what is good…so that those who oppose you may be ashamed…”
(Titus 2:7-8)

So that‘s what does it, Jesus?

Just living the life You’ve called me to live
leaving my reputation to You?

I can do that.

Correction: With Your help, I can do that.

My tendency is to try to fix what others think of me.
But every time I try, I only end up looking worse.

Best leave that to You.
