When the courts are corrupt, Jesus

to whom can we turn?

Only You.

When the courts are righteous

to whom can we turn?

Only You.

In good times and bad

in hard times and pleasant
in sickness and in health
in happiness and sorrow

to whom can we turn?

Only You.

Pray this Lazaroo in stunned recognition:

“‘I will make mere youths their officials; children will rule over them.’ People will oppress each other—man against man, neighbor against neighbor. The young will rise up against the old, the nobody against the honored.”
(Isaiah 3:4-5)

If this is how You punish a people’s sinful behavior, Jesus

I would say my city, state, nation –

and this entire world –

are being punished.

LORD, send revival! Fall on this land!

You’ve done it before.
