Pray this Lazaroo with pedal-to-the-metal commitment:

“…for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that they be put to death unless the king extends the gold scepter to them and spares their lives. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king.”
(Esther 4:11)

Esther had to plead with the king for the lives of her people, Jesus.

But to do so was to risk her own life.

Am I willing to risk my life

to save others?

Pray this Lazaroo with personal introspection:

“When the news reached the king of Ninevah, he rose from his throne…”
(Jonah 3:6)

That’s rare, isn’t it, Jesus?

Kings don’t usually rise from their thrones
when someone shows up with news.

But this news threatened his city and his own life.

Of course, he could have remained seated
waving it off as preposterous.

But when he heard Ninevah had only 40 days
before You were going to punish their wickedness

down deep, he knew:

They had it coming.
