Pray this Lazaroo with utter abandon:

“But when they arrived, he began to draw back…”
(Galatians 2:12)

Peer pressure can be a good thing, Jesus

when the people around me are wholly devoted to You

when their only desire for me
is to see me follow You.

But so many times, groups and individuals have their own ideas

causing them to pressure me to fall in line with their agendas.

I’d love to please them, Father!

But I’d ten thousand times rather please You.

Pray this Lazaroo…thoughtfully:

“Before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles.”
(Galatians 2:12)

If the Apostle Peter can be intimidated by so-called “important” people, Jesus

so can I.

The pressure he felt was so great that he actually sinned against the precious people to whom he had been ministering!

Please, LORD.

Help me keep my eyes so firmly fixed on You
that I will never allow anyone – high or low –

to back me off Your Word.
