You’re guiding my every step.

You’re protecting me in all my ways.

Even when I make poor choices

You rescue me, pick me up
and set me once again on Your firm foundation.

You Are Tender, Forgiving, Loving, Merciful, All-Powerful. Helpful.

You’re my Best Friend.

I cannot imagine living without You

Pray this Lazaroo with pure devotion:

“…the Levites…took their places…”
(Ezra 3:10)

That’s what I desire, Jesus –

to take my place –
the one You’ve assigned to me
the one You’ve equipped me to fill.

No matter how good it looks

I don’t want somebody else’s place.
It wouldn’t be a fit.

Besides, I’d be blocking them from what’s theirs
and missing what’s mine.

So show me my place!

And if for some reason I keep missing it

just pick me up and put me there.
