Take warning! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting. So he said to them, ‘Why do you do such things? I hear from all the people about these wicked deeds of yours.’”
(1 Samuel 2:22-23)

Eli rebuked his sons, Jesus

but it stopped there.

He failed to restrain them

which cost Eli and his sons their lives.

Learn from this bad example, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“If someone ventures a word with you, will you be impatient? But who can keep from speaking?”
(Job 4:2)

And so it begins to unravel, Jesus.

Job’s three friends were awesome
as long as they kept silent.

But now, Job’s friend Eliphaz can’t endure Job’s complaints without rebuking him.

Like Job, Eliphaz totally misreads what’s going on.
But that doesn’t stop him from giving his judgmental opinion.

How often have I done that, Father –

made a suffering person’s load heavier?
