Then I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, ‘The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!’”
(Nehemiah 4:18-21)

 

Nehemiah knew what to let go of, Jesus

and what to keep close.

The trumpeter was key!

With so much at stake

No way was Nehemiah going to send him

until we have shared Your love
with as many as possible.

You know.

to worship You.

You sacrificed Yourself for me!

they needed 10,000 acres of pasture!

You’ve promised to provide for my needs, too.

I can rest assured:

You know exactly what I need
when I need it.

When You enable me to get where I’m going

there it will be

waiting for me.
