Pray this Lazaroo in solemn awe:

“They will flee to caverns in the rocks and to the overhanging crags from the fearful presence of the Lord and the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake the earth.”
(Isaiah 2:21)

Such will be the behavior of all who scoffed at You, Jesus!

You were outrageously patient with their wicked behavior

but they concluded You didn’t exist
or that You were too wimpy to act.

In that day they will be the wimpy ones
running from You in fear.

Pray this Lazaroo with sober assessment:

“Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking…”
(Genesis 3:8)

What a thrill that must have been, Jesus –

to be able to hear You approaching…
to know they were about to see You!

Except, it wasn’t a thrill for them on that day.

They had sinned.

You were the last person – I mean God! –

they wanted to see.

I’m the same way.
