All of history – and all our hopes –
hinge on the perfect timing of Your arrival.

Before You came, we faced the fact
that try though we might
we could not save ourselves.

Now that You’ve come
we fall on our faces in gratitude
because we don’t have to save ourselves.

That’s what You did on the cross

for all who believe.
