Pray this Lazaroo with explosive feeling:

“…make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery…”
(Ephesians 3:9)

This isn’t only Paul’s assignment, Jesus

it’s mine, too.

Your good news isn’t hard to tell.

But it is hard to explain.

Why would the God of heaven come to earth as a man

and give Your life on the cross to save a wretch like me?

There’s one explanation and one explanation only:

You love us with a depth, passion and ferocity

that none of us can begin to comprehend.

Pray this Lazaroo with re-burning zeal:

“Anyone who…does not continue in the teaching of Christ…
(2 John 1:9)

I gave my life to You, Jesus

because You gave Your life for me.

I was determined to obey You from that moment forward.

But I haven’t.
I’ve sinned.
A lot.

I’ve confessed my sins.

I’ve forsaken them.

Only to pick them back up again.

I have no excuse – but You see it, LORD:

within the heart of my being
is a desire to continue in Your teaching.

Forgive me!
F
ill me!
Save me!

Pray this Lazaroo with deep reverence:

“With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, ‘Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.’ Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
(Acts 2:40-42)

To this very day, Jesus…

those who’ve accepted Your message continue to be baptized.

May we, too, devote ourselves

to Your teaching
to fellowship
to the breaking of bread
and to prayer!

Trust in the LORD, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Lord my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me apart like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.”
(Psalms 7:1-2)

Your ancestor King David wrote this song to You, Jesus

concerning Cush the Benjamite
who was falsely accusing him.

David was crying out to You for protection –

as do I, LORD!

You’re my only hope

against the immense harm of false accusations.

Pray this Lazaroo with discernment:

“…God’s churches…which are in Christ Jesus…”
(1 Thessalonians 2:14)

Not every group of people calling themselves a “church”

is a church, Jesus.

Many gatherings of people meeting in buildings with steeples and pews

bear no resemblance to the Church of the Bible
nor do they honor the Bible of Your Church.

Some who sing from hymnals illuminated by light streaming through stained glass

are unacquainted with the true Light
who came into this world to seek and save the lost.
