Be filled with joy, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil. ‘I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten…my great army that I sent among you.’”
(Joel 2:24-25)

I cling to this promise, Jesus!

I know it was made to the people of Judah.

But it’s also Who You Are!

I rest in the certain knowledge

that You always treat me better
than my sins deserve.

Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“Look up to the barren heights and see. Is there any place where you have not been ravished? By the roadside you sat waiting for lovers, sat like a nomad in the desert. You have defiled the land with your prostitution and wickedness. Therefore the showers have been withheld, and no spring rains have fallen.”
(Jeremiah 3:2-3)

You liken Your people to a brazen prostitute, Jesus

making it clear how You view our continual sins.

O God!
