Pray this Lazaroo in growing understanding:

“Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.”
(Ezekiel 4:7-8)

Just as You did with Ezekiel, Jesus

so You sometimes do with me.

You had given him a difficult task –

one he might have been tempted to abandon.

So You tied him to it.

That explains a whole lot of what’s happening in my life.

Go on high alert, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Now, son of man, take a block of clay, put it in front of you and draw the city of Jerusalem on it. Then lay siege to it: Erect siege works against it, build a ramp up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it.”
(Ezekiel 4:1-2 )

You weren’t telling Ezekiel to play toy soldiers, Jesus.

You were creating an object lesson
to warn Your people of what was coming.

What’s my object lesson, Father?
