Pray this Lazaroo with laser-focused intensity:

“…pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored…”
(2 Thessalonians 3:1)

Those two don’t always go together, Jesus.

When the good news about You spreads rapidly
people who prefer to remain in their sins get upset!

You tend to mess with their status quo.

On the other hand, when all those people are finding You

they testify!

They tell of Your wonders
sing your praises

and that brings due honor to You.

Pray this Lazaroo with white-hot fervor:

“Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done. For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. Lord, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death…”
(Psalm 9:11-13)

I’ve got to know this, Jesus!

When I see the atrocities being committed, it breaks my heart!

Thank You for letting me know You will intervene for them

and me.

Pray this Lazaroo in overflowing joy :

“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.”
(Psalms 8:9-9:2)

Yes, LORD Jesus! Yes!

May this Spirit of jubilant praise saturate my being

from the bottom of my heart
each and every day
all day long

no matter what!

Pray this Lazaroo with a responsive, willing heart:

“Next to him, the repairs were made by the Levites…”
(Nehemiah 3:17)

The Levites were incredibly busy, Jesus.

Their hands were already full!

They had to prepare to sing Psalms during Temple services

they performed construction and maintenance for the Temple
they served as guards, teachers and judges
and it was their responsibility to maintain the cities of refuge.

But they were needed, so they helped!

May that be my spirit

no matter how busy I think I am.

Pray this Lazaroo with pedal-to-the-metal commitment:

“…let all who take refuge in you…ever sing for joy.”
(Psalms 5:11)

I get why singers sing, Jesus.

But what about those to whom You haven’t given that gift?

I’m not talking about those who think they can sing, but can’t.

Tone deaf, they let ‘er rip anyway.

I’m thinking about those who can’t sing and know it.

Why would they cut loose and sing to You with all their might?

It has to be this:
They feel totally safe in You.
