Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. So when I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers.”
(3 John 1:9-10)

This guy’s a piece of work, Jesus.

He’s so afraid he’ll lose his position in the church
that he wants no one else to attend!

May I always put the spread of Your gospel

ahead of my own agenda!

Pray this Lazaroo in steadfast hope:

“…the God of Abraham…”
(Exodus 3:16)

Abraham had flaws, Jesus.

He argued with You.

He was so afraid You wouldn’t protect him

that He told everyone his beautiful wife was his sister
and allowed her to be taken by another man to be his wife.

Twice.

But You chose him anyway

to be the founding father of Your great nation of Israel.

Like Abraham, I too am flawed, Father!

But You’ve chosen me anyway.
Use me for Your glory!
