We can’t seem to get our heads around this, Jesus…

how You turn our worst behavior
into the fulfillment of Your Purposes for all time.

Whether we zig or zag makes no difference to You.

In Your Sovereignty,

Your will

will be done!

Be overcome with gratitude as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…if we are faithless, he will remain faithful…”

Could there ever be greater evidence of Your love, Jesus?

Of Your mercy?
Of Your forgiveness?
Of Your kindness?
Of Your patience?
Of Your longsuffering?

Or of Your sovereignty!

Another way to look at it is that nothing I do
can change what You do
nor who You are!

You are faithful. Period.

That’s what I, too, as Your grateful follower
with all my heart aspire to be.

As improbable as it sounds to a mere human, Jesus

no one simply passes by me.

You orchestrate every one.

I can’t fathom that

because to them and me

we’re walking, driving, riding, flying
wherever we please.

Nope.

It’s wherever You please.

I can disbelieve it, reason against it, attempt to refute it.

Or I can worship Your incomprehensible greatness
in stunned awareness that this is Your world
which You run however You please.
