Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“Now the priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan until everything the Lord had commanded Joshua was done by the people, just as Moses had directed Joshua. The people hurried over…”
(Joshua 4:10)

It’s incredibly hard to stand still, Jesus –

especially when everybody else is hurrying past
under the shadow of a towering wall of water!

But may I move when You say move

and stay put when You so command.

Pay close attention, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay here…”
(Ruth 2:8)

Boaz told Ruth to stay put three times in 15 words, Jesus.

It was good advice and Ruth heeded it.

In fact, that’s good advice most of the time.

When things get tough, I’m tempted to go elsewhere
not realizing that sooner or later, things get tough everywhere.

There’s only one good reason to stay…or go:

because I’m following
wherever You lead.
