Pray this Lazaroo with absolute confidence:

“At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the Lord, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of the Lord. No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts. In those days the people of Judah will join the people of Israel, and together they will come from a northern land to the land I gave your ancestors as an inheritance.
(Jeremiah 3:17-18)

No matter how unlikely that appears at this moment, Jesus

this will happen!

Pray this Lazaroo with burning zeal:

“But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God ‘will repay each person according to what they have done.’”
(Romans 2:5-6)

So, Jesus…

people who appear to be getting away scot-free

are just piling up their punishment
higher and higher.

If I’m to be repaid according to what I’ve done

I’d better get busy
doing a whole lot of good!

Pray this Lazaroo from the depths of your soul:

“…the whole house of Israel is hardened…”
(Ezekiel 3:7)

How does a person get that way, Jesus?

Is it their response to disappointment?
Is it the byproduct of repeated sin?

I’m guessing this hardening is accompanied by cynicism.

That’s a form of unbelief, isn’t it?
maybe with some stubbornness mixed in.

Regardless, a hardened heart can’t be a good thing.

I don’t ever want to get that way, Father!

Keep me soft, tender, pliable, responsive
in Your loving hands.
