Pray this Lazaroo in deepest gratitude:

“In the twelfth year of King Xerxes, in the first month, the month of Nisan, the pur (that is, the lot) was cast in the presence of Haman to select a day and month. And the lot fell on the twelfth month, the month of Adar.”
(Esther 3:7)

Haman was superstitiously seeking the perfect time to harm Your people, Jesus.

But You’re the One who guided the lot and turned it against him!

Guide my every decision LORD –
for Your eternal glory!

Pray this Lazaroo with faith in the God who can:

“…your people…are full of superstitions…”
(Isaiah 2:6)

It must be so hard for You to bear, Jesus –

seeing Your people hamstrung by their superstitions.

At first, they seem harmless enough –

knocking on wood
not walking under ladders
avoiding black cats who want to stroll in front of us
wearing the same socks we wore when our team last won –

but at heart, they have a deceiving, ugly, hidden danger:

They’re little false gods I trust
instead of You.
