Pray this Lazaroo with deep reverence:

“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.”
(James 3:13)

Once again I’m reminded, Jesus:

Talk is cheap.

It’s not enough that I know the truth.

I have to live it!

If it’s truth I’m living

I won’t be boastful or proud.
I’ll be grateful and humble.

That’s the good life to which You’ve called me –

one that’s safe for others to follow.

How does anyone know I have faith in You, Jesus?

For that matter, how do I know I have faith?

It’s not my talk, is it?
Talk’s cheap.

It’s by my actions!

What I do and don’t do

into my heart.

Pray this Lazaroo with ardent love:

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power…”
(1 Corinthians 2:4)

I’ll take Your power over words any day, Jesus!

Words are important.
But all too often, talk is cheap.

When all is said and done

more is said than done.

Thank You for everyone who talks the talk

but I’d rather have someone who walks the walk.

And of course…

that’s how others feel about me.
