Go to school as you pray this Lazaroo:

“How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much more pleasing is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your perfume more than any spice! Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride; milk and honey are under your tongue. The fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.”
(Song of Songs 4:10-11)

Such over-the-top language may embarrass us, Jesus.

But unless I miss my guess

Solomon’s Shulammite bride
loved every word of it!

Pray this Lazaroo in zealous love:

“For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.’ Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because ‘the righteous will live by faith.’”
(Galatians 3:10-11)

I keep trying to do good, Jesus

and so I should.

But not to earn my salvation!

I give my all to please You
In gratitude for your gift of faith.

Pray this Lazaroo with faith in the God who can:

“I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed—and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors—and they have no comforter.”
(Ecclesiastes 4:1)

Oh, but Solomon was looking at the world

only under the sun, Jesus.
Viewing life without You.

You are the Comforter of the hurting, the downtrodden, the oppressed!

And You, dear LORD…oh, You, dear LORD!

are my Comforter.

Pray this Lazaroo with over-the-top trust:

“The Gershonites are to do all that needs to be done with these things…carrying or doing other work…This is the service of the Gershonite clans at the tent of meeting. Their duties are to be under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest.”
(Numbers 4:26-28)

Somebody had to do it, Jesus.

The Gershonites were it.

My guess?

To carry all those heavy items they had to be pretty strong.

When You assign me a job
You always equip me to do it.
