Pray this Lazaroo in brokenness and trust:

“We sent Timothy…to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. For you know quite well that we are destined for them.”
(1 Thessalonians 3:2-3)

Destined for them?

You know I don’t like to hear this, Jesus!

When I’m wholeheartedly following You

I wish You would reward me
by sparing me from the heartaches of life!.

So why don’t You?

Because the testing of my faith produces perseverance

which enables me to fully mature in You.

Pray this Lazaroo with every fiber of your being:

“We sent Timothy…to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, so that no one would be unsettled by these trials.”
(1 Thessalonians 3:2-3)

It’s hard to watch one of our leaders go through a dark, difficult time, Jesus.

It’s even harder when I’m going through an agonizing time myself!

At such times, Satan may suggest to me that following You isn’t worth it.

But he’s a liar.

The only trials You permit Your people to endure

are those that will accomplish in us Your highest purpose.
