Pray this Lazaroo in steadfast faith:

“…if that person has no close relative to whom restitution can be made for the wrong, the restitution belongs to the Lord and must be given to the priest, along with the ram with which atonement is made for the wrongdoer.”
(Numbers 5:8)

Bottom line?

It all belongs to You, Jesus!

You created everything I have.

You loan it to me to use and enjoy.

But no matter whose name is on it

it all goes back to You.

Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit…”
(Colossians 2:5)

A lot of people use this verse to justify why they didn’t show up, Jesus.

They say “I can’t come, but I’ll be with you in spirit.”
Then they promptly put those people out of their minds.

But not Paul.

He truly connected with those he couldn’t be with.
He cared for them, prayed for them, identified with them.

Heavenly Father!
May I do the same.

Consider carefully, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Do not love…anything in the world.”
(1 John 2:15)

That’s…a strong command, Jesus.

But obviously, it’s one I need
or You wouldn’t have given it.

Sometimes I become so enamored with one of Your gifts

that I become attached to it
think I’ve gotta have it
gotta keep it.

Wrong.

I’m going to have to say goodbye

to everything I wear, drive, live in,
use, eat, enjoy, hear or see.

This world is not my home.

I’m just passing through.
