Get a grip! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“All night long on my bed I looked for the one my heart loves…”
(Song of Songs 3:1)

A bed may not be the best place to conduct a thorough search, Jesus. 😉

Perhaps she didn’t want to get out of bed.

Where am I snuggling down in a warm bed of sleepy comfort –

instead of diligently searching to achieve
those things You’ve called me to do?

If they’re out there somewhere in the dark and cold

help me haul out to find them.

Pray this Lazaroo in devoted passion:

“…mighty are those who obey his command.”
(Joel 2:11)

I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, Jesus

but it doesn’t take a genius to grasp this marvelous truth:

If I want to be mighty
I’ve got to obey You!

Why would I want to be mighty?

Because that’s what it takes
to accomplish what You’ve called me to do.

Because that’s what I need
to be able to thwart Satan’s every malicious attack.

Mighty God!

Help me obey!
