Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“…Ruth stayed close to the women of Boaz to glean until the barley and wheat harvests were finished. And she lived with her mother-in-law.”
(Ruth 2:23)

This wasn’t the life Ruth thought You were going to give her, Jesus

but trusting You, she embraced it anyway –

and oh, the reward that was finally hers!

Help me follow her example

believing with everything in me that in Your way and time

every promise You’ve made to me
will come true.

Pray this Lazaroo with supreme confidence:

“’…the word of the Lord stands forever.’ And this is the word that was preached to you.”
(1 Peter 1:25)

It’s the only word worth preaching, Jesus.

No matter how sincere, no matter how well-researched
no matter how firmly based on hard-earned personal experience

my word won’t stand.

Try though I might, mean it with everything in me
I’m still flawed – because I’m human!

It’s inevitable: I will make mistakes.

But!

When my word agrees with Yours
I’m flawless.
