Open your heart, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the Lord God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.”
(Amos 5:14-15)

This is Your Word through the prophet Amos, Jesus

to those who have sinned greatly.

Pray this Lazaroo with utter abandon:

“In fact, when we were with you, we kept telling you that we would be persecuted. And it turned out that way, as you well know.”
(1 Thessalonians 3:4)

That’s not true only of Paul, is it, Jesus?

If I remain faithfully obedient to You
trials are bound to come.

Since I follow in Your footsteps
they are my destiny.

But that’s all right!

I count myself blessed
to suffer for You.

And this I know:

You’ve promised me eternal rewards
that will make it all worth it.

Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit…”
(Colossians 2:5)

A lot of people use this verse to justify why they didn’t show up, Jesus.

They say “I can’t come, but I’ll be with you in spirit.”
Then they promptly put those people out of their minds.

But not Paul.

He truly connected with those he couldn’t be with.
He cared for them, prayed for them, identified with them.

Heavenly Father!
May I do the same.
