That’s how I want You to be with me, Jesus!

That’s how I want to be with You.

You…Are Pure Love.

Of course, there’s a fierce side of You, too.

Because pure love isn’t weak.

It’s strong, robust, powerful, formidable.

When called for – which isn’t all that rare –

it has the capacity to be ferocious –

in defense of those You love

and to arouse in them fear, wonder, awe

worship.

Pray this Lazaroo with eyes wide open:

“The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders…”
(2 Thessalonians 2:9)

What a great heads up, Jesus.

Just because something looks like a miracle
doesn’t mean it is.

If I see something so amazing that it fills me with wonder
I need to “wonder”…exactly where it leads.

When I’ve supposedly been given a sign
I’d better make double-dog sure it’s from You.
