Pray this Lazaroo with burning zeal:

“…Jesus Christ…will be with us in…love.”
(2 John 1:3)

That’s how I want You to be with me, Jesus!

That’s how I want to be with You.

You…Are Pure Love.

Of course, there’s a fierce side of You, too.

Because pure love isn’t weak.

It’s strong, robust, powerful, formidable.

When called for – which isn’t all that rare –

it has the capacity to be ferocious –

in defense of those You love

and to arouse in them fear, wonder, awe

worship.

Pray this Lazaroo with every fiber of your being:

“…the building of the house of the LORD.”
(Ezra 3:8)

There’s more than one way to build Your house, Jesus.

Here, Ezra’s talking about the physical building of Your temple.
Pretty important.

There’s building the number of people who go each week
to worship in Your house.
No small thing, that.

But nothing is as important as building the people themselves
into Your likeness

teaching them Your Word
enabling them to develop

Deep, Daily, Moment-by-Moment
1on1 relationship with You.

“Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled…”
(Matthew 2:17)

Every time, Jesus.
Every time.

When You say it’s going to happen
it does.

When You say it will never happen
it doesn’t.

No matter how long I have to wait –

minutes, days, weeks, months, years
decades, centuries millennia –

it’s a done deal.

That’s so far beyond the ability of any human to manage

that it boggles the mind.

It leaves me with no rationale choice

but worship.
