Be comforted! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“You will be filled with shame instead of glory. Now it is your turn! Drink and let your nakedness be exposed! The cup from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.”
(Habakkuk 2:16)

This is Your promise, Jesus:

The day is coming

when You will repay every unrepentant, evil person
for the devastation they have caused!

When I see one of them getting away with it

please remind me:

They aren’t.

Pray this Lazaroo with growing understanding:

“Now it is your turn!”
(Habakkuk 2:16)

Normally, Jesus –

when it’s finally my turn, I’m so happy!
I’m filled with excitement!

Not this time.

You’re telling me that if I take unfair advantage of others

I’ve planted deep into Your soil of justice a seed

that will sprout, send up shoots, bud, flower
and produce bitter fruit.

Then my turn will come to take not one bite

but to choke down every bit of it
until I vomit.
