Pray this Lazaroo in heartfelt gratitude:

“Solomon took a census of all the aliens who were in Israel…”
(2 Chronicles 2:17)

I’d have been an alien in that census, Jesus

a foreigner
a stranger
a misfit

I’m not descended from Abraham, Isaac or Jacob.

I’m not even sure who all my ancestors are
except that if I go back far enough…

I’m pretty sure I go back to Adam.

But I’m no longer an alien, am I?
