Pray this Lazaroo with white-hot fervor:

“…they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.”
(Genesis 2:8)

Seriously, Jesus?

They actually tried to hide from You –
the One who made them –

and the trees they were cowering behind?

There’s no hiding from You, is there?

Nor – unless like Adam and Eve I’ve sinned –
would I ever try to.

So since this whole “hiding from You” thing is utterly futile

help me refocus my mind, passions and energy

on wholehearted, guilt-free

obedience.
