“I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the Lord Almighty.”
(Malachi 3:1)

All those years, decades, centuries and millennia of waiting, Jesus

and then suddenly!
it happened.

May I never become impatient with Your timing.

I know.

Easier prayer to pray
than in faith to obey.

But this I also know:

You always do what’s best.

Place that mark on my forehead, Jesus!

I’m brokenhearted about what is happening in my country

Because I’m faithful to Your Word

You told us the name of that messenger, Jesus:

John the Baptist.

You Yourself are the Lord they were seeking who came to Your temple.

Though You came to Your own
they didn’t believe in You.

But there were some who believed in You.

To this day, all who do
have become Yours –

heart, mind, body and soul.
